Teaching Experience

Prior to working as an adjunct faculty member in 2001, Steven Villavucencio was a tutor for the college.  He assisted students in medical math, pharmacology, medical terminology, and other health sciences topics. Steven served as a lead EMT adjunct faculty member since Fall 2001.  He taught EMSP 1501 during the spring, summer, and fall semesters, each year until his transition to full-time faculty in 2015. Steven was also the full-time Simulation Lab Coordinator for the department since 2005. Since then, Steven serves as full-time professor for the department, responsible for EMSP 2434, EMSP 1501, EMSP 1160, and other courses.  He is a clinical faculty member.  Steven also serves as the EMT Course Coordinator for the program.   Steven is the EMSP Program Adviser for all EMSP students.  Steven currently sits as Assistant Department Chair for the EMS Professions program.  He also guest lectures for other departments within the Health Sciences.
