Teaching Experience

Shawn Slack began teaching at ACC in 2010.  Currently he is teaching Contracts, Torts, and Administrative courses.  Professor Slack also serves as the Department Chair of the Paralegal Department.    

Professor Slack has handled legal matters at law firms in Texas, prosecuted criminal cases with the Travis County County Attorney's Office, and litigated environmental enforcement matters at the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. 

Professor Slack graduated cum laude from The University of Houston Law Center and earned a B.A. at The University of Texas at Austin.  

Professor Slack is licensed to practice law by the State Bar of Texas.
