- Facilitate district-wide meetings and yearly curriculum writing for secondary social studies teachers.
- Constructed our Pflugerville ISD Social Studies Model for instruction which emphasizes inquiry, primary sources, and literacy skills.
- Create district-wide assessments and manage data for more than 11,000 students in their social studies classes.
- Find or write targeted instructional resources for teachers and disseminate them effectively and efficiently.
- Plan, prepare, and present professional learning for teachers on campuses and in larger settings.
- Built the equity and social justice program for the district in partnership with the University of Texas at Austin and the Texas Diversity Council. The program provided training for principals and teachers throughout the year as well as a yearly conference open to all. It also established an annual Young Women’s Leadership Symposium.
- Work with numerous technological platforms including Microsoft Office, Eduphoria, Performance Plus, Generation Ready, Google Drive, ITCCS, and School Wires to manage curriculum, instruction, professional learning, data, and budget.
