Teaching Experience

ROXANNE “Roxy” GAGE

As a committed dance educator, my artistic focus is to create an energetic and supportive learning environment for the training of dancers. I am dedicated to making everyone feel welcome in the world of dance and emphasize the importance of training students to have skills beyond dance, such as creative problem-solving, communication, critical listening, and leadership skills. I strive to build our dance industry with intelligent, disciplined, and passionate artists who are the next generation of choreographers, performers, teachers, judges, and dance directors. I am committed to helping dancers achieve levels they did not know they were capable of attaining.

Austin Community College (1993 – present)

  • Faculty member, Department of Dance; Instructor for Jazz, Modern, Dance Production, Dance
    Performance and Dance Composition courses. Guiding and directing students toward associates degrees in Dance
