Adjunct Faculty member, Land Surveying Department - teaching Introduction to Land Surveying, Land Surveying, and Engineering Design Surveying lecture and lab classes.

Texas Society of Professional Land Surveyors (TSPS)

2005 – Present  

Taught TSPS Surveying Mathematics courses at annual symposiums in Tyler, Padre Island, and Odessa, Texas.

2005 – 2009   

Taught beginning, intermediate, and advanced surveying math courses, and SIT preparation classes for Capital Area TSPS Chapter.

1987 – 1995 

Taught regularly scheduled surveying mathematics and field operations classes for Department Surveying and Real Estate employees.

professional EXPERIENCE

1967 – 1987   Employed by various private sector land surveying and engineering firms in Texas and other states during this period, gaining proficiency in both field operations and office management. Acquired first professional licensure in 1976.

1987 – 2004   City of Austin, Texas

Worked in management of City surveying crews, and later in surveying contract management with twenty one local surveying firms.

2004 – Present   Texas Parks and Wildlife Department

Manager of all state-wide agency surveying operations.
