Developing Stories: Greening the Neighborhood / Mueller earns LEED-ND

Austin Chronicle /  November 20, 2009

         DThe Mueller Neighborhood was one of the first LEED Silver Certified Neighborhood Developments

by the US Green Building Council.

Kipp Flores Architects was one of many architectural firms that participated in housing

designs for the redevelopment .

I produced working drawings for some of the designs related to this project.

Texas Architect: July-August 1990 "Supplanting the State-Office Stereotype"

Project: Brown-Heatly State Office Building / Architect: The White Budd Van Ness Partnership

Principal-in-Charge: James D. Budd / Project Architect: Charles Hunter / Project Designer: Gilbert Hoffman

There was a large project team and I was one of the team members. I participated in the

schematic design phase, the design development phase, and both the construction documents

and construction administration phases.

Oak Lawn 1880-1976: An Historical Study  /  Editor: Bob Wise (Fall 1976)

This was a demographic study of the Oak Lawn area in Dallas, Texas.

Several teams worked concurrently on this project. I analyzed data from the 1960's.

Housing for Growth and Change / Andrzej Pinno (1976)

This was a study of modular housing and I was one of the design team members.
