Post-Doctoral Fellow (Behavioral Pharmacology)

Detection of neuronal glutamate release using capillary electrophoresis with laser-induced fluorescence.  Through the technique of microdialysis, fluid from rat brain is collected and then analyzed for changes in glutamate concentration after treatment with a stimuli or agents known to evoke change in neurotransmitter concentrations.
