2021 – 2023       Director, Institutional Planning, Research, and Assessment

                             Huston-Tillotson University

Responsible for providing leadership and oversight for Huston-Tillotson University’s comprehensive institutional effectiveness and evaluation processes. Oversight of strategic planning activities on all levels of the University, to include policy analysis, evidence-based recommendations, and data analysis. Designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining institutional research & assessment database.  Providing current, accurate institutional data to all internal and external requestors. Development & oversight of the University’s instructional program review process.  Oversight of assessment processes on all levels, to include institutional and departmental outcomes. Oversight of institutional accreditation standards and compliance reporting, serving as the University’s SACSCOC Institutional Accreditation Liaison. Working collaboratively with all major units of the University and supporting key University-committees. Supervision of the Office of Institutional Planning, Research, & Assessment (OIPRA) and departmental staff.

Responsible for providing leadership and oversight for Austin Community College District’s institutional planning & effectiveness evaluation processes.  Included developing and implementing district-wide administrative rules and procedures for alignment of strategic planning, assessment, and financial resource allocation that effectively embody and execute District policies.  Developing, implementing, and maintaining a system for collection and dissemination of data for internal effectiveness and decision-making, as well as for external accreditation and reporting.  Oversight of the District’s planning & assessment database, program review process and associated evaluation activities.  Integrating academic outcomes assessment and program review with planning and budgeting District-wide.  Ensuring District-wide evaluation and reporting on strategic planning initiatives.  Supervision of departmental staff to promote District-wide continuous improvement through various institutional effectiveness activities.

 

2013 – 2015       Director, Academic Planning and Evaluation     

                             Austin Community College District

Responsible for directing, planning, developing, and managing Austin Community College District’s academic assessment, planning & evaluation processes.  Providing leadership and oversight for all Academic Affairs master planning processes and activities.  This included development, coordination, and updates to the Academic Master Planning process.  Also, to direct and supervise the educational program effectiveness review process and associated evaluation activities. Integrating academic outcomes assessment and program review with planning and budgeting District-wide.

 

2010 – 2013       Coordinator, Institutional Planning and Assessment

                             Austin Community College District 

Office of Institutional Effectiveness & Accountability (OIEA) - Responsible for coordinating, implementing and maintaining the District-wide master planning process and/or District-wide assessment process, to promote continuous improvement activities, as required by ACC Board policy, federal, state and other accrediting agencies.  Responsible for oversight of ACC’s Institutional Effectiveness Committee (IEC).  Worked in conjunction with institutional researchers, data analysts, data warehouse staff, programmers, SACS liaison and various stakeholders, to determine, identify, collect, analyze, disseminate, and archive various types of data.  Responsible for the development and maintenance of the District’s assessment database.

 

2010       Graduate Assistant/ Supervisor

                Baylor University

Responsible for supervising undergraduate students in providing tutoring/academic enrichment to Waco ISD students.  Responsible for identifying, selecting, and planning appropriate activities and lessons for elementary and secondary students.  Serve as liaison between Communities in Schools Manager, campus representatives, and Baylor University/ “Live Brave” coordinators.
