Teaching Experience

I have taught at ACC since 1993. I have also taught at Houston Community College and University of Houston, from 1991-1993. In 2010, I started working with the Honors Program at ACC, teaching a course in gothic literature that I designed.

Presented a conference paper at the David Foster Wallace Conference, July 2016

My essay "The Darkly Delicious Thing: Explorations of the Gothic in Infinite Jest" was published in 2017 in the book Normal 2016: Selected Works from the Third Annual David Foster Wallace Conference.

Presented paper "Teaching The Gothic in an Honors Community College Program" , August 2019, at the International Gothic Association Conference
