  • Facilitate learning in the classroom with 20–45 adult students on site and at remote sites on medical/ surgical topics such as diverticulitis, colon cancer, hepatitis, and diabetes in the middle age and older adult client.
  • Create learning activities to promote gaining knowledge and critical thinking skills.
  • Write test questions and quizzes to evaluate student learning.
  • Analyze test statistics.
  • Supervise, observe & evaluate students in the clinical medical/ surgical setting.
  • Facilitate post-conferences during clinical day to allow students to share experiences and reflect on care and the nursing process used.
  • Advise students academically throughout their nursing education
  • Serve on the evaluation committee, participating in ongoing program, course, and facility evaluations from both faculty and students and making recommendations based on the evaluations.
