- Facilitate learning in the classroom with 20–45 adult students on site and at remote sites on medical/ surgical topics such as diverticulitis, colon cancer, hepatitis, and diabetes in the middle age and older adult client.
- Create learning activities to promote gaining knowledge and critical thinking skills.
- Write test questions and quizzes to evaluate student learning.
- Analyze test statistics.
- Supervise, observe & evaluate students in the clinical medical/ surgical setting.
- Facilitate post-conferences during clinical day to allow students to share experiences and reflect on care and the nursing process used.
- Advise students academically throughout their nursing education
- Serve on the evaluation committee, participating in ongoing program, course, and facility evaluations from both faculty and students and making recommendations based on the evaluations.
- Serve on Courtesy Committee, fostering unity and camaraderie among both full time and part time faculty members

- Assisted in coordination of students in a variety of community healthcare settings, including long term care, pediatric clinics, and elementary schools.
- Communicated with student liaisons in community settings regarding student objectives and requirements for the day.
- Met with each student during their community clinical rotations to review objectives. Encouraged discussions regarding their objectives to aid in critical thinking skills.
- Reviewed submitted material/coursework and provided constructive feedback.
- Maintained contact with full-time faculty members regarding students’ progression.
