MUSC 2447 Audio Production III - Fall and Spring Semesters 2001-present

Presentation of advanced procedures and techniques utilized in recording and manipulating audio information.  Topics include advanced computer-based console automation, hard disk based digital audio editing, nonlinear digital multitrack recording, and advanced engineering project completions.

MUSC 2427 Audio Production II - Summer 2004-2017

Engineering with emphasis on implementation of the techniques and theories of the recording process.  Topics include applications of microphones, the audio console, the multitrack tape recorder, and signal processing devices in recording session environments.

MUSC 1325 Acoustics and Project Studio Design - Spring 2008, 2009 and 2010           

A study of sound and its behavior as it relates to recording studios and performance venues.  Focus is on acoustical physics,proper dimensional ratios, frequency response, isolation issues, HVAC design, electrical considerations, ergonomics and interior design.

MediaTech Institute; Austin, TX

Audio 101 - 2002-2016

Responsible for teaching an in depth study of introductory audio concepts and applications.  Subject matter includes acoustics, microphone technique and selection, recording, mixing, and editing of both analog and digital audio.  Emphasis is placed on industry practices and future employment.
