Teaching Experience

Courtney Ahrenholtz is an Associate Professor of Marketing and Finance at Austin Community College. Prior to teaching at ACC, Courtney received a Master of Science degree in Management and Marketing from Texas A&M-Commerce and a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and French from the University of Northern Colorado. Courtney also worked in the banking industry as a Vice president for multi-national banks and is an entrepreneur of a small business.

Courtney’s teaching focuses on student and community development through strategic critical thinking and global shared experiences. Students are encouraged to engage in active learning by designing and executing portable deliverables of value to their future aspirations.

Courtney's areas of research and scholarly study include; global interdisciplinary studies and the role marketing plays in global equality, as well as behavioral finance and its intersection with consumer behaviors.
