• Conducts and/or reviews career and transition

assessments, surveys and interviews that guide the

students in transition planning including development

and/or revision of post-secondary goals and a coordinated set of

activities to meet the goals

• Promotes self-determination through person centered

planning and student led ARD meetings

• Coordinates the establishment and review of goals and

priorities with other staff including teachers,

counselors,social workers, residential staff, and adult

service agency case managers

• Reviews student progress with employers, DARS, and

appropriate TSD staff

• Provides counseling and guidance to facilitate student’s

work adjustment

           

Coordinator, Rochester After School Academy (RASA) at Rochester School for the Deaf

• Train staff to work at RASA; recruit students to

participate in the programs offered by RASA@RSD

• Coordinate any necessary services, provide homework

monitoring students’ vocational plans.

with external services and employment agencies

• Educate and empowering students to initiate job search

Computer Lab Coordinator/Teacher, Wisconsin School for the Deaf

• Provide technology support for Yearbook Club daily

• Operate student-centered program development for

students

to develop program books, brochures and digital pictures

for school’s events and assist them completing projects

• Provide consultation on expressive and receptive sign

language methods for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in
