Work closely with instructional and student services deans and department chairs to ensure advisors have current information for each program in their assigned area of study. Work with various college offices and groups on activities and opportunities for students, from onboarding to Student Life events and other extracurricular activities, to transfer and career services. A valued member of the Health and Kinesiology and Student Development department task force, a member of the Student Advisory Forum. Work with Faculty to ensure compliance to OCRA and Quality Matters curriculum development, assist with new faculty orientation, and compliance with personal development requirements. Mentor faculty through the online learning environment. Regularly share information and ideas with faculty and staff through online discussion forums, and other avenues. Assist with pathways-related data gathering and analysis. Supervised a staff of 13 instructors, developed the schedule for all fitness and dance classes, interviewed and hired fitness and dance instructors, monitored instructor performance, conducted reviews, tracked payroll for the fitness department, instituted schedule for raises, coordinated and instructed on and off-site Red Cross First Aid and Safety Classes, developed and supervised participation in fundraising events (walk-a-thons, dash-for-cash, Aquafest, Juneteenth, Earth Day, Clarksville Jazz Festival), maintained all fitness and dance equipment, purchased new equipment and solicited donations of equipment, organized YWCA participation in health fairs throughout Austin, integrated YWCA Fitness classes into area hospitals and corporations.

Funded Research
Nov. 1995 $1,500 awarded for research into the validation of the Ariel Performance Analysis System to accurately predict ground reaction force without the use of force platforms. The grant was funded by The Institute of Sports Medicine at Southwest Texas University.
