Course Prerequisites:
UXUI 1372, UXUI 2376 and MATH 1342. MATH 1342 may be taken concurrently

Course Subjects
Instruction in the techniques that design researchers use to help organizations decide on their strategy including the use of surveys, interviews, and concept testing. We’ll understand:
- The role of researchers in modern product organizations
- The use of surveys for identifying research participants and learning about them
- How to test concepts for new products and features with research techniques
- How to present research findings in the most effective way

- Describe the role of UX researchers and their ethical responsibilities
- Create plans for research projects including methods and objectives
- Assess, create, and analyze surveys for user research
- Conduct and analyze interviews with modern research tools
- Evaluate design concepts using modern research methods
- Synthesize and present research outcomes to influence decisions
