Student Learning Outcomes/Learning Objectives
(1) To learn and apply basic information about UNIX using Linux.
(2) To learn and use the basic commands, vocabulary, operation and utilities of Linux
Students learn operating system usage & theory of an operating system commonly encountered on single-user microcomputers. This course helps students develop general knowledge of operating systems, usage and program development using Linux. Students learn and practice basic commands, regular expressions, the file system, shell and shell scripts.
