Student Learning Outcomes/Learning Objectives

By the end of this course the student will: 

*apply Geological Time Scale to the major historical events of the Earth

*describe the directional and locational systems employed on the surface of the Earth and to use and analyze maps

*interpret the principals of geomorphology and the processes that shape the landscape

*explain the physical principles and processes governing the circulation and characteristics of the atmosphere and climates on Earth

*assess the distribution and dynamics of organisms and their environments
