Student Learning Outcomes/Learning Objectives
Upon completing this course the student should:
a. Have a strong knowledge of digital electronics.
b. State the functionality of basic logic gates, be able to represent digital circuits as Boolean expressions, and be able to design basic combinational and sequential circuits.
c. Be able to perform basic digital circuit analysis using simulation software.
d. Be able to describe the differences between PLDs, CPLDs, and FPGAs and be able to identify Hardware Description Language ( HDL) programs.
