Course Subjects
ENGL 2341 Forms of Literature for Creative Writers: Ghost Stories examines the supernatural in various expressions of literary writing, identifying the reasons we tell ghost stories, the elements of storytelling that create ghost stories, and the craft and criticism focused on ghost stories. We’ll read spooky stories, talk about why we like to be scared, and explore how ghost stories help us understand and interact with the world. Finally, we’ll create our own spine-tingling stories and find homes they can forever haunt.
