Course Requirements
This clinical course requires the student to be assigned to a hospital or private radiographic imaging office to train with qualified Credentialed Radiographers.Clinical training includes working with actual patients, other staff radiographers, and other members of the health care team and is competency-based. Grades for the course are comprised of Clinical Competency testing, Evaluation of Medical Images, Professional Skills Evaluations, Technique Chart Project, Dosimeter Quiz, E-signatures (quiz grade), Mid-Semester Rounding (quiz grade), and Syllabus Quiz.

In addition, the course requires access to a computer or device with internet access for supplemental material. Students are encouraged to access and utilize the following materials:

Course Subjects
A health-related work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills, and concepts. Direct supervision is provided by the clinical professional. A method of instruction providing detailed education, training and work-based experience, and direct patient/client care, generally at a clinical site. Specific detailed learning objectives are developed for each course by the faculty. On-site clinical instruction, supervision, evaluation, and placement are the responsibility of the college faculty. Clinical experiences are unpaid external learning experiences. Course may be repeated if topics and learning outcomes vary. Offered in Spring.
