Course Description
Course Description: The Business Ethics course is an examination of ethical issues and dilemmas facing contemporary businesses. The course covers management's ethical and social responsibilities and the need for an awareness of social responsibility in management practices and business activities. The course covers ethical responsibilities and relationships between organizational departments, divisions, executive management, and ethical corporate responsibility.

Instructional Methodology
This course is taught in a fully online, asynchronous format. Course instruction and tests are online. The MANDATORY Orientation Information and the Orientation Quiz is available in Blackboard on the first day of class. The mandatory orientation information and quiz must be submitted during the first week of class.
Withdrawal Policy
It is the responsibility of each student to ensure that his or her name is removed from the roll should he or she decides to withdraw from the class. The instructor does, however, reserve the right to drop a student should he or she feels it necessary. If a student decides to withdraw, he or she should verify that the withdrawal is submitted before the final withdrawal date. the student is strongly encouraged to retain the copy of the withdrawal form for their record. Students who enroll for the third subsequent time in the course taken since fall 2002, may be charged a higher tuition rate for that course. State law permits students to withdraw from no more than six courses during their entire during their undergraduate career at Texas public colleges or universities. With certain exceptions, all courses’ withdrawals automatically count toward this limit. Details regarding this policy can be found in the ACC college catalog. The last day to withdraw from this class is Friday, June 23, 2023.
