  3. Lab gear 1: Safety glasses/goggles with Z87.1 rating You can buy these at the ACC bookstores or even cheaper at HEB, Home Depot, Walmart, etc.
  4. Lab gear 2: Closed-toe shoes. If you drive to campus, consider keeping a pair in your trunk if possible.
  5. Technology: A computer or iPad compatible with Respondus Monitor testing software.  Chromebooks and other tablets are not compatible with Respondus Monitor.  Technical requirements include:
    1. Windows (7,8,10), Mac (OS X 10.10 or higher), or iPad (iOS 10.0+)
    2. web camera (internal or external)
    3. microphone
    4. broadband internet connection

BIOL 2401:

  • Use anatomical terminology to identify and describe locations of major organs of each system covered.
  • Explain interrelationships among molecular, cellular, tissue, and organ functions in each system.
  • Describe the interdependency and interactions of the systems.
  • Explain contributions of organs and systems to the maintenance of homeostasis.
  • Identify causes and effects of homeostatic imbalances.
  • Describe modern technology and tools used to study anatomy and physiology.

  • Locate and identify anatomical structures.
